Vote for the 2 Gregs!

Washington County voters have a very clear choice this November.

They can vote to keep the same "good old boys" in power who think the county's mission is to service the high tech industry and big time developers. Or they can vote for Greg Mecklem in District #4 (Forest Grove/Hillsboro area) and Greg Malinowski in District #2 (Beaverton area) who think government should work for us all not just for the well connected.

We don't need more growth, we need "smart growth." We don't need more "big box" industry, we need to support the engines of economic progress - family farms and small business which are the economic life of our economy. We need to quit offering "welfare" to multi-national corporations (i.e. tax breaks and subsidies) and start encouraging "sustainable" local business.

Washington County should not be for sale to the highest bidders often from outside the state of Oregon. We need new leadership not the "same old, same old" which has sold us down the river with the false promise of jobs at the end of the rainbow. It's time to change the guard in the County Court House. It's time to end "business as usual" politics.
